Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how MOCKX ("MOCKX", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the services available at https://mockx.org (the "Service"). By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in through Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive or store your Google password. You also select a public username that serves as your identity within the Service.
- Gameplay information. Records of the rooms you host or join, rounds played, training sessions, and your simulated results, including simulated profit and loss. All gameplay data reflects simulated activity only; the Service involves no real-money transactions.
- Technical information. Session identifiers stored in your browser to maintain your signed-in state and to permit reconnection to live games, together with standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) retained for security and diagnostic purposes. The Service does not employ advertising trackers.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including order matching, round settlement, and scorekeeping.
- To display leaderboards and standings, in which your username and simulated results are visible to other users.
- To administer plan features and usage limits, such as daily training sessions.
- To respond to inquiries and provide user support.
- To protect the security, integrity, and fair operation of the Service.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not serve advertising.
3. How We Share Information
We share personal information only with infrastructure service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, database and authentication services, and network and email delivery. These providers are authorized to process personal information solely as necessary to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Service and its users.
4. Your Rights and Choices
- You may change your username on your account page, subject to the Service's change limits.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting support@mockx.org from the email address associated with your account. We will confirm once deletion is complete.
5. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact support@mockx.org.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise this page and its effective date. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
